SIT is a full accredited IATA Cargo Agent. The Cargo Agency Program is managed by the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and provides access for IATA agents and airlines to both their global distribution network.
Suriname
In 2017, SIT opened the company Paramaribo International Cargo Office (PICO) in Suriname. Nowadays our Suriname offices extended of three custom bonded warehouses in Paramaribo and one in Nickerie West-Suriname near to the border of Guyana-Moleson Creek.
Suriname International Transport (SIT) was established in 1992 and during the years we specialized in all types of
cargo and freight forwarding to and from Suriname – Guyana and French Guyana. Short after the start of our activities,
SIT was accredited by the International Air Transport Association and granted the ISO 9001:2015 after a successful audit by TüV
