Global air freight solutions
PICO offers the option to send air freight shipments worldwide on all flights to and from Suriname. Daily, air freight shipments can be sent from the Netherlands (Europe) to Suriname and beyond, including French Guiana. Our air freight service has a transit time of 2 days each way. Shipments can be delivered to Hoofddorp from Monday to Saturday. Air freight shipments can be handled at J.A. Pengel Airport. Consolidated shipments are processed at our temporary storage locations in Geyersvlijt, Abra-Broki, and Kwatta.
Close cooperation with carriers
We have a close partnership with carriers such as Surinaamse Luchtvaartmaatschappij (SLM) and Koninklijke Luchtvaartmaatschappij (KLM). Currently, PICO operates four temporary storage facilities, three in Paramaribo (North, West, and South) and one in Nickerie. PICO is the only official KLM Cargo agent in Suriname.

Air freight export for businesses
Daily, air freight shipments can be sent worldwide from Suriname. PICO (Paramaribo International Cargo Office) is the exclusive KLM Cargo agent. For businesses, we offer air freight consolidation services twice a week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Shipments can be delivered to our warehouse in Abra-Broki and are handled in Hoofddorp-Schiphol South.

Air freight export for individuals
Twice a week, you can drop off your air mail package for shipment to the Netherlands or Belgium at one of our stores. The air mail cut-off is every Wednesday and Saturday. Shipments from Wednesday are processed on Friday, and shipments from Saturday are processed on Monday at one of our locations in the Netherlands or Belgium. On Sundays, we have a last-minute mail cut-off at our Abra-Broki and Lelydorp locations from 7 AM to 9 AM.
